Mastering Operational Technology Cybersecurity Governance

Operational Technology systems power critical infrastructure across municipalities, utilities, transportation, and state agencies. As OT environments become increasingly interconnected with IT networks, the need for skilled leaders who can govern and protect these systems has never been greater. This comprehensive 3-day hybrid course is designed to help professionals build a strong understanding of OT cybersecurity governance and address these challenges with practical, achievable strategies. Participants may join in person at the BSU Cyber Range or attend live online with full access to demonstrations, guided discussions, and hands on activities. Those who complete all sessions will earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Led by UnRavl cybersecurity experts Joseph Flores, Andrew Murray, and guest speaker Dave Ketchen, this immersive training provides more than 25 years of combined experience spanning federal, commercial, and AI integrated security environments. Attendees will learn to establish and apply governance frameworks, understand evolving regulatory requirements, improve coordination between IT and OT operations, and strengthen resilience through risk-based strategies and incident readiness planning. Cyber threats targeting critical infrastructure continue to rise, making this program an important opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills, and practical tools needed to lead in OT security governance. No prior knowledge in OT is required to attend.
